Assistant Superintendent

Our client is a leading builder and developer of multifamily communities in Texas. They are seeking to grow their already successful team with an Assistant Superintendent to be based Austin, TX. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for the directing and managing the subcontractors to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Other responsibilities include performing detailed reviews of construction drawings, hold weekly meetings, develop and maintain production targets and keeping the Superintendent updated on overall production.

The business has been in the Texas market for the last 13 years and are continuing to grow.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of experience in multifamily construction with a developer or GC.
  • Must have knowledge in vertical construction including wood framing, drywall and finishes.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective oral communication and writing skills
